At Colour for Living, we believe thoughtful interior design can transform the way we live. We are passionate about colour and how it shapes the atmosphere of a space, influences how we feel and reflects our individual personalities.
Our approach to interior design begins with understanding each client's lifestyle, tastes and needs. We create uplifting, individual interiors that balance beauty with practicality, bringing together colour, pattern and carefully considered details to make every space feel personal.
With professional interior design training and backgrounds in fine art and project management, we combine creative vision with experienced turnkey delivery. Our trusted network of specialist suppliers and skilled craftsmen helps us deliver beautifully considered interiors, tailored to each client and their budget.
Meet Laura
Originally from Devon, England, Laura co-founded Colour for Living with Lucy in 2021, bringing over 15 years of professional experience in the arts, design and operations management.
She holds an MA (Hons) in Art History from the University of St Andrews and trained in classical fine art at London Fine Art Studios, before specialising in interior design through a diploma at The Designer’s Studio in Dubai and further study at the National Design Academy in the UK.
She lived and worked in Abu Dhabi for 7 years, before relocating to Muscat to set up the studio there in 2022. In 2026, she moved to Nairobi, Kenya with her family and continues to work on projects in Africa, the UAE, Oman and the UK.
Meet Lucy
Originally from London, Lucy has called Abu Dhabi home for over 16 years. She co-founded Colour for Living in 2021 and has since helped families transform their homes, combining a passion for design with extensive project management experience and meticulous attention to detail.
Known for her love of colour, from bold, vibrant shades to soft, subtle tones, Lucy brings a thoughtful, personal approach to every project. Her work spans a wide range of residential homes across the UAE, managing renovations
creating interiors that reflect each client's personality, style and practical needs.
